Here’s a little peek into the world of the sexual predator. Take note, parents.

A man has been accused of sending children pornographic images and inviting them to expose themselves on web cams. This sexual predator lured a sixth grade girl in a chat room to login to her hotmail account. Only thing is it was a real hotmail login page. Consequently, he was able to capture her username and password and take over her e-mail account posing as her.

It wasn’t until a friend of the girl went to the victim’s mom that the police were brought in to investigate. Unfortunatley, law enforcement doesn’t think they’ll be able to catch him.

Sexual predators will go to great lengths to get what they want. They’re patient and cunning. Encourage your child(ren) to be cautious, even suspicious of whom they chat with online if they’ve never met that person in real life beforehand. Too much is at stake. In this case, things could have been much worse, even emotional turmoil can take a while to heal.
