Miniclips is a popular site for free online games. One such game is Monkey Lander. You play the role of the monkey who is flying the spaceship. By using your arrow keys, the object of the game is to maneuver the spaceship while trying to capture the floating fruit without hitting the obstacles.
Once you’ve captured the fruit, a landing pad appears, which you then have to land on. But be careful — land too fast and you crash, but if you run out of coconut fuel, you’re also going to crash. Each level adds more complexity.

My 5 year old is going to love this. I should probably load it on his mom’s computer so he doesn’t take my seat 
Hehe…my son’s the same way. There’s also this other one, Monkey Snowfight (I think it’s called) where you can play against other people online. Took a while to get the hang of it, but I kept getting clobbered.
