Keep your passwords safe

With all the sites you visit that ask ask for an ID and password, it doesn’t take long for it to become a logistical nightmare keeping track of them all. And it’s not very safe to use the same login information everywhere you go either. Here’s a little tool that will help keep your passwords safe and organized. It’s called Any Password (Microsoft only).
It’s also available as a free download for individual and not-for-profit charitable entities.
The only password you need to remember is the one to get into the file. Once you’re in you can search for whatever login information you’re looking for. It uses strong encryption and a hierarchical data structure, which means you can organize your data within a familiar tree format. Plus, it also allows for multiple users to access its contents enabling more than one user to access just their own information or more than one data set. So your whole family can get benefit from it.
And if you’re tired of having to come up with an easy to remember, but hard to figure out password, it can generate one for you. To avoid typing it out to logon, just click on the “copy to clipboard” button and all you have to do is paste it into your logon screen. Pretty nifty!
I am not partnering with this software provider and I do not guarantee the tool nor bear any responsibility of damages that might occur. I’m simply providing you with a tool that may help you take control over your login information.
